The artist is my son and is very talented. In high school he was accepted by Chicago Art Institute but couldn’t afford the tuition. He graduated from Fredonia State University with a Fine Art degree.
The Douglas C-47 Skytrain was one of the more popular World War ll military transport aircrafts. It was developed from the civilian Douglas DC-3 airliner. This work horse carried troops, wounded, medical personnel, guns, ammunition, and even a jeep during its Wartime service.
